Bainbridge Island High School
Bainbridge High School is a four year school serving 9th -12th grades for approximately 1500 students. As an indication of excellence, in 2004-05 school year, there were 6 National Merit Scholar Finalists, 9 Merit Commended Students, and 119 graduating seniors designated Washington Honors Award winners -- 40% of the graduates in the top 10% of graduating seniors in the state. As shown by students' high-test scores and records of success beyond graduation, BHS enjoys a reputation for high academic success. BHS also provides a broad range of co-curricular programs that exceeds the options available at virtually any other public school its size.

The high school campus includes three main instructional buildings (one of these was new in 2000), a music building, a gymnasium (new in 2000), and a stadium and athletic fields. To expand the usefulness of the campus, community organizations extensively use the buildings, stadium and fields after normal school hours and during the weekends.
