Island Life

As the name implies, the Island Life Section is about living -- past and present -- on Bainbridge Island.

Under the heading of Visitors and Newcomers, you'll find the New Resident Contact List to be especially helpful. Here, in one document, is a list of names, addresses and phone numbers of companies and organizations you may need to contact in order to get the services you require to move into your new home. Here, you can also find a brief description and links to lodging, transportation and communications.

Bainbridge Island's history is as complex as its wine and has as much drama a great novel. Included in this Section is a brief history of our beautiful isle, a list of books you might be interested in reading and links to some obscure historic sites.

Also, within Island Life are links to Bainbridge Island City Government (COBI) as well as several visitor sites such as the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association. All of these sites are loaded with information, maps and statistical data you may find useful as you get to know and move around Bainbridge Island.
